Getting the Apiary up and running.

Ahhhh. It’s a new year, new goals. Right?

Well, as for me? I started planning back in October. I pre-ordered my very first bee packages. Each month when I get paid, I buy another package, a hive to be built, or tools to use when I work my bees. I don’t have much extra money, so I have had to budget carefully to make this dream a reality.

But it’s almost time! Last week, we cleared out the spot that will officially become The Honey Pot Apiary. I went out there today and just sat with my thoughts, admiring the beauty and calm of the space.

I have no idea what I am doing. But I am hoping the guidance of some good books, blogs, and YouTubers can help my first bee season be successful. I encourage you to join me along the way and help put some pollinator power back into the world.
